Using Drone Video to Market Airbnb Rentals

Haven Forest House Airbnb just a short drive from Nashville TN

As the short-term rental industry continues to grow, it's becoming increasingly important for Airbnb owners to find new and innovative ways to market their properties. Nashville TN is one of the hottest tourist locations in the US so short-term rental competition in Nashville is heavy. At Nashville Drone Co, we understand that making your Nashville area Airbnb stand out from the others will ensure your Airbnb property stays rented year round. One of the most effective ways to do this is by using drone video footage to showcase your property's unique features and stunning surroundings. Short videos for Reels & TiKTok are something we specialize in at Nashville Drone Co.

Here are some tips for using drone video to market your Airbnb:

  1. Highlight the Location: Whether your property is nestled in the mountains or perched on the edge of the ocean, using drone footage to showcase its location can be a powerful marketing tool. Aerial footage can give potential guests a bird's-eye view of the surrounding area and highlight nearby attractions, such as beaches, hiking trails, or local landmarks.

  2. Show Off Your Property: Aerial footage can also be used to showcase the unique features of your property. For example, if you have a beautiful pool, a lush garden, or a sprawling outdoor entertaining area, a drone video can give potential guests a sense of what it's like to relax and unwind in your space.

  3. Create a Virtual Tour: A drone video can also be used to create a virtual tour of your property, giving potential guests a comprehensive view of all the different spaces and amenities available. This can be particularly helpful for larger properties or those with multiple buildings, as it allows guests to get a better sense of the layout and flow of the space.

  4. Show the Seasons: If your Airbnb is located in an area that experiences seasonal changes, using drone footage to capture the changing colors of the leaves or the snow-covered landscape can be a great way to showcase the unique beauty of your property throughout the year.

  5. Add Music: Lastly, consider adding music to your drone video to create an immersive and engaging experience for potential guests. Choose a soundtrack that fits the mood of your property and the surrounding area, whether that's calming and relaxing or upbeat and energizing.

Overall, using drone video to market your Airbnb can be a powerful tool in attracting potential guests and showcasing the unique features of your property. Make sure you use an FAA Part 107 licensed drone video company to capture the footage of your property as its required by federal law when using drone video for commercial use.

Filming Steeples with a Drone

We recently played a role in the launch of the first drone based artist in the music business with new artist, Sky Hymnal. Filming steeples with a drone is something we love to do in our travels. Each steeple has a unique personality and beauty which we find intriguing. Sky Hymnal pairs our drone footage with instrumental ambient guitar recordings of popular traditional hymns. We have more projects in the works with Sky Hymnal and we will share as they are released.
